If you want your dry skin to glow, go for those astringents without alcohol.

These "alcoholic substance" often remove the oils from your skin and damaging them. That's why, you will experience a tight feeling after the application.

Just to warn you, using toners with alcohol frequently has been known to irritate already-dry skin, causing it to burn, itch, and redden. Alcohol irritates the skin and is of one the main cause for contact dermatitis, another form of dry skin disease. So what kind of ingredients should you look out for your choice of astringent?
