hi there,

I've never been able to find out the correct type of skin problem I have, but this is what it is, my brother and I got it from our father who has naturally dry hands and feet. Our skin has never been smooth, just rough, like sandpaper. When I moisturize, the skin softens up (doesn't last thou) and turns red for a while. When it's dry it can get peely after a while. The feet are the worse, so I smooth them out with a foot file, then moisturize. When the feet are really dry, the skin cracks. When we were little, the skin cracks were worse and sometimes would bleed. What exactly is our skin condition? And can it be passed down? Both my brother and I plan to start family planning soon. Could it skip a generation?
