There are three broad categories of factors that can lead to eczema.
Genetic (Hereditary reasons).
Environmental (house dust mite, bacterial toxins, hard water climatic factors, air-borne allergens and pollution).
Food sources (“Bad-Skin” food such as eggs, soy, wheat, peanuts, cows’ milk and fish. Corn)
Causes of Eczema
There are no permanent causes because it can be hard to tell which the exact origin of this chronic skin disease. Eliminating one cause may not mean a total riddance of this irritating skin problem. There could simply be other causes that you could not cut off and detect.
If you strongly suspect that the cause of eczema is due to certain food allergy, one suggestion is to isolate the one food you suspect. At least in this way, if your skin gets better, you know exactly which food was causing it. But chances are, it can be awfully tricky to zoom in to one single food or clue that uncovers what are the main causes.
Eczema also tends to have a close correlation with dry skin. Avoid soaps, baths, shampoo conditionals or common detergents that can dry the skin. Avoid stress as it can end up an upshot in the worsening of skin condition.
Young kids
For somewhat unexplained reasons, infants or young children seems to be more susceptible compared to other age groups.
Always keep your house well ventilated and as far as possible, use 100% cotton for bed covers and clothing. Cotton absorbs heat and perspiration and hence makes any itch more bearable. We all know little kids like to pay with house pets such as dog.
But take note that allergens from the dog danger can be a prime cause as well. Choose eczema lotions or products that can moisturizes and mitigate the dry skin, which is the central problem in controlling eczema.
