Homemade Face Masks

You can easily create your own homemade face masks. These recipes are quick to make, very effective and easy to learn. Start making your own face mask in the comfort of your home today!

Banana-Honey Skin Mask

Mix 2 green bananas with a spoon of honey and 150ml of yogurt. Apply it gently to the skin and wait 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Beat one egg white until it is frothy. Add 1 teaspoon of honey and a spoon of olive oil. Spread on clean face and leave for 5-10 minutes.

Mix one spoon of butter with 30 ml of water. Apply directly on the dry areas of your skin and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

Banana-Strawberries Skin Masks

For a special anti wrinkles homemade face mask treatment for the dry skin:

Mash a banana with a fork.

Smooth over skin and wait for 10 minutes.

Rinse off with warm water followed immediately by a spray of cold water.

Mash 150 grams of strawberries and mix them with 200 ml of cream.

Apply it to the skin and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Apple- Honey Skin Mask

Mix 2 apples with a spoon of honey. Apply it to the skin and wait 20 minutes then rinse off.

Mash up a ripe tomato and apply it gently. Rinse off with warm water after 20 minutes.

Mix 2 spoons of bran with one teaspoon of baking soda, 10 ml of lemon juice and a spoon of water. Use it on your nose and chin and avoid the eyes area. Rinse off with warm water after 1-2 minutes.

Beat one egg white until it is frothy. Add a lemon and 100g of oatmeal. Spread on clean face and let it dry. Rinse off with warm water.

Rose Petal Recipe Skin Masks

Use half a glass of mustard with 2 spoons of water and add a few fresh rose petals. Let it sit for half hour and rinse off.

Mash a papaya and apply it gently directly to the face. Wait 20 minutes and rinse off.

Mix a glass of buttermilk with the juice from 2 green lemons and dab onto your skin. Rinse off after 20 minutes.

Mash a banana and 150g of strawberries. Spread on the skin.

Mix 2 carrots with one egg yolk and one glass of milk. Apply it on the skin and wait 20 minutes.

Soothing Facial Masks

The following dry skin remedy is a soothing facial mask that can be made from ingredients in your kitchen.

Step 1 : Combine an egg yolk with a tablespoon of mayonnaise or yogurt and and another tablespoon of honey.

Step 2 : If you use yogurt, add a 1/2 tsp. of almond oil. Apply to skin lightly and let it dry. Wash off gently with warm water.

Another healing facial mask that is a good remedy for extremely dry skin is to beat an egg and add oat flour to it.

You can make oat flour by whizzing oatmeal around in the blender. Spread the mixture on your face and relax for 10 minutes before gently washing it away.
