Nontoxic Skin Care Tips

Most of us are not aware of is this; how important it is to choose nontoxic skin care products. While all skin care products aim to make our skin clearer and more beautiful, some (those toxic ones that is) can really make your life hell.

A recent study has shown that the cosmetic and personal day care products that we use can easily contain close to 200 hundreds chemicals that were actually used during manufacturing processes such as plastics and pesticides.

Such synthetic chemicals used originally for industrial process has increasingly invaded into the production of our skin care products as well. Indeed, this has grown to such a dangerous level, and has forced the European Union to impose a law to forbid the import of skin care products that has unhealthy level of toxins such as carcinogens, mutagens in them.

So what can you as a consumer do to protect your skin from such irresponsible skin care manufacturers? We offer some valuable information and tips when it comes to nontoxic skin care.

1. Natural products. Choose organic products instead as these comes from natural plants extracts and is non-toxic.

2. New clothes. Do not wear new clothes without washing first. These clothes undergo chemical dying and the toxins can be harmful to your skin.

3. Read the labels carefully and choose hypoallergenic products as these products contains less abrasive chemicals that destroy the skin protective barrier.

4. Cosmetics and perfumes. Certain brands of cosmetics and fragrances have been known to cause disruption to the skin. Do not go for cheap brands as these usually contain the harshest chemicals. Test first before you fully use them on your skin.

5. Try Tricholoracetic Acid (TCA) which is a nontoxic skin care peeling method to smoothen the skin. It is safe to use and can be used to help improve your skin condition.
