Pore Cleanser


Use astringent as a pore cleanser to prevent clogged pores.

Skin acne is one of the major concerns for the majority of people. Almost everybody has suffered from skin acne at one time in their lifetime. One of the major causes of acne is simply clogged pores. When we see a black spot on our skin, many people often assume that it is a freckle or a mole. However most of the time we find that this is actually a clogged pore. This is commonly called a black head, or a whitehead.

When considering treatment options for clogged pores and blackheads doctors normally suggest the use of an astringent. An astringent is basically a pore cleanser, this is a liquid which is applied directly to the skin. This is a very strong chemical and so it can possibly cause a burning sensation when applied. It works by removing all of the dirt and oil deposits that have accumulated on your skin.

The skin should be initially cleaned with the use of warm water to remove any visible external dirt. Then the astringent should be applied using a cotton wool ball, make sure you apply the chemical all over the face.

As a pore cleanser, the astringent works by removing dirt and oil from the pores and prevents the possible problem of acne. However it does not guarantee against the formation of pimples because there are many different causes of acne, all of which requiring a slightly different treatment.

This astringent is a very helpful cure for teenagers and anybody else that suffers from acne. Teenagers have hormonal imbalances which result in oily and greasy skin, which in turn can cause pimples of acne needs a pore cleanser.

Nobody is saying that astringent is perfect however, it does have its disadvantages due to the content of alcohol. The advantages of using an astringent are that it cleans the skin and rids it of acne and pimples. The disadvantages are that they can make the skin peel and appear flaky. After applying astringent it can make the face look quite dull.

The perfect process for treatment is to first exfoliate your skin. Exfoliating is the process of removing the dead skin and dirt from deep pores.

Then you should use a moisturizing cream with vitamin C. Then the astringent should be applied to remove dirt and oil from the surface of the skin. You would notice a remarkable results if this process is repeated regularly.

If this treatment causes skin irritation or any discomfort, then you must go and talk to your doctor. It is advisable to find an alternate treatment if you have any problems.
