Prevent Dry Skin

Many people has asked me how to actually prevent dry skin? Is there really a way to make dry skin stay away?

We have tried the followings tips and they are super-effective dry skin prevention methods. Just apply few of these tips to your daily regimen and you can really see your skin starting to glow!

How To Prevent Dry Skin

  1. Reduce your coffee intake. Coffee contain a high amount of caffeine that's bad for your skin. Drink plenty of plain water instead. Aim for at least 8 glasses per day, more if you are involved in strenuous activity.

  2. Stop smoking and cut down on your drinking of alcohol. You'll be surprised at the amount of money you can save too!

  3. Keep a moisturizer with you at all times. I always kept a moisturizer with me whenever I go. Every time, my skin starts to feel dry, I will apply a thin layer to it. It really helps as our skin is so expose to the harsh environments of dust, heat and air-conditioned dryness.

  4. Shower in cold water. Though I know hot water is very comforting to the skin, the fact is, it's not very beneficial to our skin. So, limit your exposure to hot showers and see your electricity bills go down too!

  5. Try not to wash your face too much. I think once a day is sufficient, two if your face is really unclean and needs a simple rinse.

  6. Use humidifiers. It helps because they remove the humid and dryness in your or office environment.

  7. Exfoliate minimally once a week. It's a good way to remove those dead cells in your skin. It will help to make your skin more responsive to lotion and creams subsequently.
