There are five different types of psoriasis diseases which includes the following:
a) Plaque
b) Guttate
c) Pustular
d) Inverse
e) Erythrodermic
Plaque
If you have psoriasis, there’s a high chance you are likely to have plaque psoriasis. Once you are infected with this form of psoriasis, your skin will experience dry, red and itchy scales on them. Unfortunately no cure has been found for this disease, which means you can only control and manage it, and not make it go away totally. Plaque psoriasis appears most frequently in parts of your body such as elbows, scalp or areas that are near to your joints.
Guttate
This nature of psoriasis appears as tiny red patches on your skin. It’s very unsightly and can cause sufferers to undergo depression over it. A serious case of Guttate psoriasis can see a large part of the body cover with drop-like lesions, required intensive treatment before the condition can be minimized. This psoriasis seems to strike those under the age of 30 years old and constitute about 2% of the entire psoriasis sufferers.
Pustular
People with pustular psoriasis have skins that are oozing with pus (pustules). It’s a bit like acne but it’s clearly a more serious condition than that as the bumps looks reddish and makes the entire skin area looks awful. There are many types of symptoms associated with this skin condition. Things like fever, chills, nausea, are common telltale signs of pustular problem.
Inverse
Skin folds areas like the groins armpits and even the buttocks are areas that this type of psoriasis can hit. If you are the type who sweat a lot, the sweat glands can further disturb the skin folds and cause yeast overgrowth. This can results in skin lesions of psoriasis to occur.
Erythrodermic
One of the most serious forms of psoriais, erythrodermic psoriasis can affects large areas of the body. In many cases, the body surface is exposed with red, thick skin. It’s not a common kind of psoriasis to be infected with. But if you do have it, your skin is usually red, inflamed and feels rashly.
